I have downloaded the annotations that I have made with the new session after I realized that all my previous annotations have been lost. What happened is that I kept my Lumin session open, as an open tab of Chrome, just re-authenticating when my auth token expired. During all that time, since end of July I did not get any GDrive sync error message. I had to reboot my computer recently. And when I reopen Lumin today, I was surprised not to see any of the annotations. And I checked in GDrive, where I noticed the last modification of the native PDF was July 26th !! So I reopen Lumin, and then I noticed the tiny GDrive icon with an orange mark.... and after you know what happen... I click, the sync error message, the advice to download the modifications, ect... but all my previous annotations from July 26th were already gone... 1- investigate the reason of this 'memory bound error' that blocks the sync. It sounds like a tiny memory leak that surfaces when users keep their session open too long. 2- be sure that the sync warning is more visible in the UI. If I had seen it, I would have downloaded the annotations as suggested

Your app is a piece of shit!!! I uploaded an English textbook and was doing my homework there. Sometimes my teacher can’t see my comments, sometimes I can’t. I do it again and then two answers appear on top of each other. Then I can’t see the comments again. Support has been ignoring my request for the second day! And you’re actually charging money for this piece of shit?! Go fuck yourselves with this crap...

Phenomenon 1: When opening a PDF document in Google Drive using the Lumin PDF plugin in the Chrome browser, Lumin does not fully display the original bookmarks. However, other methods (such as Adobe) display all the bookmarks correctly with the same pdf document. See the attached image comparison showing the difference (left side of the image shows Adobe opening, right side shows Lumin opening). This is inconvenient for viewing pdf content. Phenomenon 2: After modifying the document content using Lumin and saving it to Google Drive, the missing displayed parts of the original bookmarks are lost. This has a significant impact. I hope this confirms above issues, because I really want to continue using Lumin PDF once they are resolved.

I've been experiencing several issues when editing PDF files in Lumin. I often can't use the Freehand Highlight tool because the page starts flickering. Besides, the PDF content appears to be duplicated/overlapped, with multiple layers of the same page rendered on top of each other, which makes the document impossible to annotate. These issues have occurred repeatedly since last month. Moreover, it would be great if you could add a keyboard shortcut for the Freehand Highlight tool, similar to the shortcuts available for other annotation tools.

The trouble with compatibility between PC and android apps. FIX PLEASE - it is so annoying There is a problem. The page on PC version (browser and app) is bigger and not same with tablet and mobile. I previously used lumin as a PWA installed through browser, but now all the app.luminpdf.com links redirect to www.luminpdf.com which cannot be installed as a PWA neatly. If I create a shortcut for it to open as an app it shows a toolbar at the top which makes it annoying to use the app.

I have lumin as my preferred PDF reader and I like to use the desktop version but for some reason the last two days it's not opening any documents anymore.. The only way I can open PDFs is to open them via the browser extension. Edition Windows 11 Home Version 25H2

I can't do anything to my documents without it wanting to sync (to my drive?) constantly. It makes it hard to get any work done. If I highlight something once, it wants to sync. If I make one mark to the page, it wants to sync. It is getting hard to use and I"m considering not using it at all.

Why give me the ability to edit/add to a pdf but not automatically print the pdf with those changes? Make it easy, or don't make it at all.
